Abstract

Abstrak: Di era globalisasi ini, antara kaedah baru yang kian mendapat tumpuan adalah pengintegrasian dan pelaksanaan gamifikasi dalam pendidikan, sehingga timbul persoalan tentang sejauh manakah pelaksanaan gamifikasi mampu merangsang murid untuk lebih bermotivasi dan terlibat aktif dalam proses Pembelajaran dan Pemudahcaraan (PdPc). Oleh itu, penulisan ini bertujuan meninjau sejauh mana pengaruh pelaksanaan gamifikasi dapat membantu Pendidikan murid di Malaysia, seterusnya mengenal pasti elemen penting dalam pelaksanaan gamifikasi di Malaysia, di samping meninjau jenis gamifikasi yang diaplikasikan dalam PdPc Jawi di Malaysia. Kajian literatur ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berdasarkan penelitian terhadap kajian-kajian lepas berkaitan pelaksanaan gamifikasi dalam pendidikan. Tinjauan literatur menunjukkan pelaksanaaan gamifikasi mempunyai pengaruh tersendiri terhadap motivasi dan penglibatan murid dalam pendidikan, dan antara elemen penting yang biasa dititik beratkan dalam pelaksanaan gamifikasi di Malaysia ialah kutipan mata, lencana, papan pendahulu, kemajuan, status, tahap kesukaran, ganjaran, avatar dan peranan. PdPc Jawi juga memberi tumpuan kepada penggunaan gamifikasi dengan mempraktikkan Quizziz, Roda Impian Jawi, Pandai Joran, Pancing Jawi, dan banyak lagi. Hasil tinjauan berkaitan pelaksanaan gamifikasi ini mampu memberi sumbangan dan implikasi positif dalam pendidikan dari sudut teori, pedagogi dan empirikal kepada guru-guru, khususnya guru Pendidikan Islam dalam memupuk kemahiran Pembelajaran Abad ke-21 murid-murid.

Abstract: In this era of globalization, among the new methods that are gaining attention is the integration and implementation of gamification in education, until there are questions were raised about to which extent the implementation of gamification can stimulate students to be more motivated and actively involved in the Learning and Facilitation (TnL) process. Therefore, this paper aims to examine the extent to which the influence of gamification implementation can help student education in Malaysia, then identify essential elements for the implementation of gamification in Malaysia, and review the types of gamification applied in PdPc Jawi in Malaysia. This literature study uses a qualitative approach based on an analysis of previous studies on the implementation of gamification in education. Observation from the literature study shows that the implementation of gamification has its influence on the motivation and involvement of students in Education, and among the important elements that are commonly emphasized in the implementation of gamification in Malaysia are points, badges, leaderboards, progress, status, difficulty level, rewards, avatars and roles. Currently, in PdPc Jawi, among the gamification practised are Quizziz, Roda Impian Jawi, Pandai Joran, Pancing Jawi, and many more. The results from the survey related to the implementation of gamification will be able to provide positive contributions and implications in education in terms of theory, pedagogy and empirical to teachers, especially the Islamic Education teachers, in cultivating 21st Century Learning skills of students.
