[THE FLIPPED CLASSROOM METHOD IN TEACHING IN MALAYSIAN UNIVERSITIES AND ITS ROLE IN ENHANCING SKILLS AMONG LEARNERS SULTAN ZAINAL ABIDIN UNIVERSITY AS A MODEL A DESCRIPTIVE AND ANALYTICAL STUDY]
Abstract
Abstract: The flipped classroom is a form of education in which we can employ modern technologies, and in which the skills that make the student a research project are manifested, enhancing critical thinking, self-learning, communication skills, collaborative work, and other changes that help achieve distinguished educational outcomes; therefore, scientists and researchers described it as the promising future of education by developing teaching methods and strategies, as they considered it the easiest path to educational technology without compromising the principles of traditional education. This study considered that the flipped classroom method is based on direct interaction between the teacher and the learner on the one hand, and between learners among themselves on the other hand, and these are - without a doubt - basic components of education and learning in general; thus, this study considers the flipped classroom method a basic pillar for building the educational process; it aimed to highlight it and highlight its role in Malaysian universities. The problem with this study lies in the fact that interest in this method of teaching has not found a way to practical application in Malaysian educational institutions except to a small extent that allows this word to focus its lesson around it; It adopted a descriptive analytical approach that examines the reality at Sultan Zainal Abidin University, Terengganu, hoping that the spirit of creative research will be enhanced among the students of this university by achieving the desired goal of enhancing the skills previously mentioned at the beginning of this speech. It is expected that this study will produce important results related to the strategy of this method of teaching and the benefits it brings to the pillars of the educational process at this university, including lecturers, students, and parents. These expected results are also related to what can be obtained from the skills that enhance the performance of the Malaysian student at this university and his comprehension. There is no doubt that such a study can be generalized, and its benefits can be generalized to educational institutions throughout Malaysia.
