Abstract

Abstrak: Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sokongan guru mentor terhadap guru baharu berdasarkan kajian literatur terdahulu. Sebanyak 10 penulisan yang berkaitan telah dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan analisis kandungan untuk mengenal pasti tema utama dan pola sokongan yang diberikan. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa sokongan guru mentor kepada guru baharu terbahagi kepada tiga aspek utama, iaitu sokongan pedagogi, emosi, dan sosial. Sokongan pedagogi merangkumi bimbingan dalam perancangan pengajaran, pengurusan bilik darjah, dan penilaian murid, manakala sokongan emosi melibatkan usaha meningkatkan keyakinan diri serta mengurangkan tekanan kerja. Sokongan sosial pula berkaitan dengan membantu guru baharu menyesuaikan diri dalam persekitaran sekolah dan membina hubungan profesional. Kesimpulannya, kajian ini menegaskan kepentingan sokongan guru mentor dalam memperkukuhkan pembangunan profesional guru baharu, seterusnya menyumbang kepada peningkatan kualiti pendidikan.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the support of mentor teachers to new teachers based on previous literature reviews. A total of 10 related writings were analyzed using a content analysis approach to identify key themes and support patterns provided. The findings show that the support of mentor teachers to new teachers is divided into three main aspects, namely pedagogical, emotional, and social support. Pedagogical support includes guidance in teaching planning, classroom management, and student assessment, while emotional support involves efforts to increase self -confidence and reduce work stress. Social support is related to helping new teachers adapt to the school environment and build professional relationships.
