Abstract
Abstrak: Inovasi digital dalam pengurusan maklumat organisasi menjadi keperluan utama dalam meningkatkan kecekapan kerja staf pendidikan tinggi. Kolej Komuniti Rompin menghadapi cabaran dalam capaian dokumen seperti borang, takwim dan pautan rasmi yang sebelum ini berselerak dan sukar diakses. Sebagai penyelesaian, sistem eStore: Gerbang Dokumentasi dibangunkan menggunakan Google Sites bagi menyediakan satu gerbang maklumat sehenti yang mesra pengguna, mudah diselenggara, dan pantas diakses. eStore memberi kemudahan kepada staf untuk mendapatkan dokumen penting tanpa perlu bergantung kepada komunikasi manual atau pencarian berulang. Walaupun belum dilengkapi fungsi carian atau keselamatan lanjutan, impak awal menunjukkan peningkatan kecekapan kerja dan pengurangan beban pentadbiran. Maklum balas tidak rasmi juga menunjukkan kepuasan dalam kalangan pengguna. Ini selari dengan dapatan Tan dan Lee (2019) yang menegaskan bahawa pengurusan maklumat berasaskan awan seperti Google Sites dapat menyokong transformasi digital yang berskala kecil tetapi berkesan dalam konteks institusi Pendidikan. Penulisan ini membincangkan pembangunan, keunikan, impak dan potensi peluasan inovasi eStore. Ia membuktikan bahawa inovasi berasaskan platform sedia ada mampu menyokong transformasi digital secara mampan dalam pengurusan maklumat di kolej komuniti.
Abstract: Digital innovation in organizational information management has become a critical need in enhancing staff efficiency within higher education institutions. Kolej Komuniti Rompin encountered challenges in accessing essential documents such as forms, academic calendars, and official links, which were previously scattered and difficult to locate. As a solution, the eStore system was developed using Google Sites to provide a centralized, user-friendly, and easily maintained information gateway. eStore enables staff to retrieve important documents without relying on manual communication or repeated document requests. Although it currently lacks advanced features such as search functions or secure login, early results have shown improvements in workflow efficiency and reduced administrative burden. Informal feedback from users also indicates satisfaction with easier access to institutional information. This aligns with findings by Tan and Lee (2019), who highlight that cloud-based information systems like Google Sites can effectively support scalable and sustainable digital transformation within academic institutions. This study discusses the development process, key features, practical impact, and potential scalability of the eStore innovation. It demonstrates that leveraging existing digital platforms can facilitate meaningful institutional transformation, especially in community college environments with limited resources.
