QAWA’ID HADITHIYYAH DAKHILAH MU’ASIRAH [CONTEMPORARY FORGED HADITH RULES ABSTRACT]

Abstract: There is a tremendous outburst of exotic and fabricated rules relating to the study of hadith in social media. Such rules, which entirely contradict the study of hadith terminology, were made up by the enemies of the Sunnah of every hue. They deliberately circulated and promulgated them through their channels as if they were among the principles of the study of hadith terminology so that they may conceal their false claims. Therein lies the problem of the study. The study aims to i) examine, extrapolate and analyse the rules put forth by those modern hadith forgers, ii) refute these rules using the method accepted by the Ummah and the established rules of the study of hadith. The study used the inductive method, as well as the descriptive method along with analysis. Accordingly, the researcher will extrapolate and document each rule of what is called “the rules of the modern hadith forgers”. He also intends to refute these rules by assessing them against the origins of the study of hadith using the descriptive-analytical method. The study came up with the following conclusions: i) there are rules fabricated by the modern hadith forgers with the aim of spreading their misguiding thought by falsely assuming the framework used by the study of hadith, ii) the movement of hadith fabrication develops with the development of factors and causes at every time, and iii) it is necessary to diligently search and investigate the channels and articles of the modern forgers to reveal in their lies that may deceive many commoners and students.
