Abstrak: Pembelajaran atas talian telah menjadi satu pendekatan pembelajaran yang rutin kepada semua warga pendidikan seluruh dunia pada masa kini. Disebabkan pandemik Covid-19 yang telah melanda sejak tahun 2020, pihak kementerian pendidikan telah mengambil keputusan untuk menukar cara pengajaran dan pembelajaran agar murid-murid tidak ketinggalan dalam pembelajaran walaupun tidak boleh hadir ke sekolah. Namun begitu, sesuatu perkara semestinya ada kebaikan dan keburukannya. Justeru itu, artikel ini membincangkan persepsi ibu bapa terhadap pembelajaran atas talian berdasarkan tahap kepuasan dan halangan yang dihadapi oleh ibu bapa. Kajian ini berfokuskan kepada ibu bapa yang mempunyai anak-anak yang masih bersekolah dan terlibat secara langsung sepanjang pembelajaran atas talian ini dijalankan. Kajian ini ialah kajian tinjauan yang menggunakan soal selidik atas talian iaitu Google Form untuk mengumpul data daripada ibu bapa. Terdapat tiga bahagian dalam soal selidik ini, antaranya ialah maklumat demografi, tahap kepuasan dan halangan. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa ibu bapa menunjukkan tahap kepuasan yang tinggi terhadap pembelajaran atas talian. Namun terdapat juga beberapa halangan yang dihadapi telah menyukarkan proses pembelajaran atas talian. Kesimpulannya, dapatan hasil kajian telah menunjukkan bahawa ibu bapa mempunyai persepsi yang positif terhadap pembelajaran atas talian berdasarkan peratusan tahap kepuasan yang dianalisis.
Abstract: Online learning has been one of the common approaches for all the educators during this pandemic. Since Covid-19 hit the whole world last year, Ministry of Education took the action of changing the way of learning so that the students will not be missed in their studies even schools are closed. Everything has the pros and cons. Therefore, this article is to discuss about parent’s perception of online learning based on the satisfaction and barriers that occur. This study focused on parents with children that still schooling and parents that involved together during the online learning. This is a survey study using online questionnaire through Google Form to collect data from the parents. There are three main parts of the questionnaire, that is the demographic information, satisfaction and barriers. Results showed that participants overall were satisfied with the implementation of online learning during the pandemic. There were also parents saying that many barriers occurred and affected the process of online learning. As the conclusion, the results showed that parents have a positive perception towards online learning based on the analysis of satisfaction statistic given.
