Abstract

Abstrak Sekolah tahfiz memainkan peranan penting dalam pendidikan Islam, namun guru tahfiz berdepan cabaran dalam menguasai teknologi digital yang semakin menjadi keperluan dalam pendidikan abad ke-21. Kajian ini bertujuan meneliti pengaruh kepimpinan teknologi guru besar terhadap kompetensi digital guru tahfiz di sekolah rendah tahfiz swasta sekitar daerah Pasir Gudang, Johor. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan melalui reka bentuk tinjauan deskriptif dan inferensi, melibatkan 100 orang guru tahfiz yang dipilih secara persampelan bertujuan. Instrumen kajian merangkumi 32 item soal selidik kepimpinan teknologi guru besar yang menilai lima dimensi dan 24 item soal selidik kompetensi digital guru yang mengukur empat dimensi. Dapatan menunjukkan tahap kepimpinan teknologi berada pada tahap tinggi (M = 4.07), manakala tahap kompetensi digital guru juga berada pada tahap tinggi (M = 3.88). Walau bagaimanapun, analisis korelasi menunjukkan hubungan negatif yang sangat lemah dan tidak signifikan antara kepimpinan teknologi dan kompetensi digital guru (r = –0.184, p = 0.067). Analisis regresi linear mudah turut menunjukkan kepimpinan teknologi hanya menyumbang sebanyak 3.4% variasi terhadap kompetensi digital guru (R² = 0.034, β = –0.184, p = 0.067). Kajian ini menekankan bahawa peningkatan kompetensi digital guru tahfiz memerlukan strategi pembangunan profesional dan sokongan organisasi yang lebih menyeluruh bagi memastikan transformasi digital di institusi tahfiz dapat direalisasikan secara mampan.

Abstract: Tahfiz schools play an important role in Islamic education, yet tahfiz teachers face challenges in mastering digital technology, which has become a necessity in 21st-century education. This study aimed to examine the influence of school principals’ technology leadership on the digital competence of tahfiz teachers in private tahfiz primary schools in Pasir Gudang, Johor. A quantitative approach was applied using a descriptive and inferential survey design, involving 100 tahfiz teachers selected through purposive sampling. The instrument consisted of a 32-item questionnaire assessing five dimensions of technology leadership and a 24-item questionnaire measuring four dimensions of digital competence. The findings revealed that both technology leadership (M = 4.07) and teachers’ digital competence (M = 3.88) were at high levels. However, correlation analysis indicated a very weak and non-significant negative relationship between technology leadership and digital competence (r = –0.184, p = 0.067). Simple linear regression further showed that technology leadership accounted for only 3.4% of the variance in digital competence (R² = 0.034, β = –0.184, p = 0.067). This study highlights that enhancing tahfiz teachers’ digital competence requires more comprehensive professional development strategies and organizational support to ensure that digital transformation in tahfiz institutions can be achieved sustainably.
