Abstract: Allah Almighty revealed the Noble Quran in seven modes of recitation, and the seven recitations that exist today are a part of those modes. However, Quranic recitations have been a target of scrutiny and skepticism by enemies of Islam since the early days of Islam until our present time. They claim that there are differences, contradictions, additions, and omissions in these recitations, which is where the problem lies. Therefore, the aim of this research is to study the areas of difference, whether in terms of addition or omission, through the recitations of Hafs and Warsh (may Allah have mercy on them) in Surah Al-Fatiha and Al-Baqarah and to clarify the nature of this difference. The significance of this research lies in demonstrating the benefit of the diversity and variance in Quranic recitations, as well as their conformity to the Uthmani script. It emphasizes that the differences in these recitations represent diversity, not contradiction. This is achieved using an inductive analytical approach, collecting and analyzing scientific material to arrive at desired results. The results of this article show that the variation in recitations enhances our understanding of Quranic meanings and the diversity of expressions, aiding in the interpretation of the Quran through its various recitations and highlighting the miraculous nature of the Noble Quran. Every difference, even if it appears as an addition or omission of a letter, is in accordance with the Uthmani script, which is the condition for an authentic and well-established recitation. Furthermore, the meanings within these recitations are among the sciences that many universities and institutes interested in this field neglect to teach. This makes it easier for those with doubts to criticize the recitations, as there are not enough experts in the field of Quranic recitation. Through what has been mentioned, the researcher has recognized the urgent need to train qualified scholars who can address doubts raised about the narration of Hafs and other recitations. It is also clear that the differences among them represent diversity, not contradiction.
