Abstract: : The legal rule of inserting rare forms under the generality of the terms is a well-known issue that was circulated by many distinguished scholars, both classical and contemporary. However, as in the case of other legal rules, there is still room for its study in light of some of the commands and prohibitions contained in the legal texts. For example, this appears from the absence of all the legal rulings for rare forms of sale over the sale of others. Therefore, this paper came to fill that gap by applying the legal rule based on the opinions of scholars regarding the rule. The research proceeded with the qualitative method; therefore, the materials were collected by the library research method. As for the rare forms for sale over sale, they are deduced from the formula of computing combination from mathematics, then their rulings were extracted according to the legal rule. One of the most important results of the research is to prove the prohibition on rare forms for sale over a sale that are not mentioned in jurisprudence books, as well as the importance of matching mathematics with the science of Sharia, especially with the combination formula, which is how the rare forms are deduced.
