This study aims to determine the influence of achievement toward students’ memory in Java Programming. This study employed quantitative method, which is quasi-experimental research design, in collecting data involving 36 students enrolled in Malaysian Vocational Diploma from vocational colleges. Data were collected through Java Programming (JavaPraPos) assessment questionnaire instrument by referring to Bloom’s taxonomy and use of retrieval-based learning. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 22 software, focusing on linear regression analysis. Results found that the reliability levels of students’ achievement (M=75.8, SD=12.6) and students’ memory (M=83.1, SD=11.2) were positive. Results from the analysis showed that students’ memory was able to contribute to a significant predictor value toward students’ achievement (β=0.661, t= 6.739, p<.000), and rejected the null hypothesis
