AHAMMIYAT ʻILM AL-MA’ANI LI-MA’RIFAT QASD AL-QUR’AN: DIRASAH TAHLILIYAH LI ANWAʻIHA WA AMTHALATUHA MIN AL-AYAT AL-QUR’ANI [THE SIGNIFICANCE OF ‘ILM AL-MA’ANI IN UNDERSTANDING THE MEANINGS OF AL- QURAN: AN ANALYSIS TOWARDS ITS EXAMPLES IN QURANIC TEXTS]

Abstract

Abstract: Al-Quran is regarded as the most comprehensive book that accommodates the needs of humankind, particularly, the Muslims. As it was revealed in Arabic language, therefore it is a requirement for those who want to understand the Quranic meaning literally and explicitly to be linguistically well-informed and skilled. Ilm al-Ma’ani is a branch of Ilm Balaghah. It is a science that helps people to understand the meaning of Quranic verses. Due to its major role in comprehending the language of the Quran, this research aims to examine Quranic verses using Ilm al-Ma’ani as an attempt to extract the actual meaning of the verses which will be beneficial especially for non-native speakers. It was found from the analytical approach applied on those examples and verses that the content of Ilm al-Ma’ani is implied in Quranic verses in the forms of al-Khabar and al-Insha’, al-Taqdīm and al-Ta’khīr, al-Zikr and al-Hadzf, al-I’jāz and al-Iṭnāb. By grasping those topics, the readers will know accurately the actual meaning and purpose of those Quranic verses. Therefore, Ilm al-Ma’ani is considered as an important knowledge and essential skill in understanding the Quranic verses.

ملخص : إنّ القرآن الكريم كتاب شامل كامل متكامل يحتاج إليه جميع الناس وخاصتهم المسلمون. كما أنّ القرآن أُنزل باللّغة العربية، فلا بدّ للقارئ أن يتعمّق في بعض المهارات اللغوية وقواعدها وبلاغتها، لأجل معرفة قصدها الحقيقية لغويًّا ومقاصديًّا. فعلم المعاني قسم من أقسام علوم البلاغة، والذي يساعد الناس في معرفة معاني كلمات القرآن وآياته الكريمة. مع أنّ علم المعاني يلعب دورًا كبيرًا لفهم لغة القرآن، فهذا البحث يتحدّث عنه من خلال توضيح مباحثه وأمثلتها من الآيات القرآنية، لأجل بيان قصدها الحقيقي، وخصوصًا لغير الناطقين بهذه اللغة. وهذا البحث هو دراسة تحليلية لتلك الأمثلة والآيات. ومن نتائج هذا البحث أنّ من مباحث علم المعاني ذكرت في القرآن منها: الخبر والإنشاء، التقديم والتأخير، الذكر والحذف، الإيجاز والاطناب. ومن تلك المباحث، يعرف القارئ قصد الآيات ويفهمها بدقّة، وليس مجرّد القراءة في سطحها. ولهذا، فإنّ علم المعاني يعتبر كمهارة مهمّة لفهم الآيات القرآنية.
