Abstrak: Kajian bertujuan mengenalpasti tahap penguasaan murid terhadap kemahiran interpersonal dan intrapersonal setelah mengikuti pelaksanaan Program SUMUR yang dilaksanakan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM) di sekolah menengah. Penguasaan kemahiran interpersonal dan intrapersonal ini dapat membantu murid meningkatkan jati diri yang unggul agar dapat mendepani cabaran dunia yang semakin mencabar. Sampel kajian melibatkan 118 orang murid tingkatan lima dari tiga buah sekolah jenis Sekolah Agama Bantuan Kerajaan (SABK) di negeri Pahang iaitu Madrasah Tarbiah Islamiah Mentakab, SMA Al-Maarif Kuantan dan SMA Al-Hasanah Rompin. Kajian ini merupakan kajian kuantitatif berbentuk tinjauan yang menggunakan instrumen soal selidik. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui kekerapan (mod), nilai peratus, min dan sisihan piawai yang dianalisis menggunakan perisian SPSS versi 2.6. Hasil kajian mendapati tahap penguasaan murid dalam kemahiran komunikasi interpersonal adalah berada pada tahap tinggi, manakala tahap penguasaan intrapersonal pula pada tahap sederhana. Seterusnya data dianalisis secara inferensi melalui ujian-t bagi mengenalpasti perbezaan penguasaan kemahiran komunikasi interpersonal dan intrapersonal berdasarkan jantina. Maka dapatan kajian memperoleh bahawa tiada perbezaan yang signifikan terhadap kemahiran interpersonal dan intrapersonal murid lelaki dan perempuan. Kesimpulannya Program SUMUR yang dilaksanakan memberi kesan kepada penguasaan, amalan dan pembentukan murid terhadap kemahiran komunikasi dalam kehidupan seharian mereka. Implikasi dan cadangan lanjutan juga dikemukakan oleh pengkaji bagi penambah baik terhadap kajian yang akan datang.
Abstract: The study aims to identify the level of students' mastery of interpersonal and intrapersonal skills after following the implementation of the SUMUR Program implemented by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) in secondary schools. The mastery of these interpersonal and intrapersonal skills can help students improve their superior identity in order to face the challenges of an increasingly challenging world. The study sample involved 118 form five students from three Government Aided Religious Schools (SABK) in Pahang, namely Madrasah Tarbiah Islamiah Mentakab, SMA Al-Maarif Kuantan and SMA Al-Hasanah Rompin. This study is a quantitative survey in the form of a survey that uses a questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed descriptively through mod, percentage values, mean and standard deviation analyzed using SPSS software version 2.6. The results of the study found that the level of students' mastery in interpersonal communication skills is at a high level, while the level of intrapersonal mastery is at a moderate level. Next, the data were analyzed inferentially through t-test to identify differences in the mastery of interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills based on gender. Thus the findings of the study obtained that there was no significant difference in the interpersonal and intrapersonal skills of male and female students. In conclusion, the SUMUR Program implemented affects the mastery, practice and formation of students on communication skills in their daily lives. Implications and further suggestions were also put forward by the researcher for improvement on future studies.
