Abstrak: Seiring dengan perkembangan pendidikan di Malaysia, keberhasilan guru bukan sahaja dinilai dalam bidang akademik, malah harus menguasai pelbagai bentuk teknik pengajaran serta mampu menghasilkan bahan pengajaran yang kreatif sebagai menyahut cabaran kelas pembelajaran abad ke-21. Penggunaan bahan pengajaran yang kreatif juga telah terbukti dalam membantu guru Pendidikan Islam mewujudkan suasana pembelajaran yang menarik serta meningkatkan keberkesanan dalam proses pengajaran dan pemudahcaraan murid di dalam bilik darjah. Kertas konsep ini akan membincangkan konsep bahan pengajaran kreatif secara amnya. Selain itu, kertas konsep ini juga mengutarakan kefahaman guru terhadap bahan pengajaran kreatif serta penerapan kreativiti terhadap bahan pengajaran sama ada dilaksanakan semasa set induksi, cadangan aktiviti atau latihan dan penilaian. Kepentingan penggunaan bahan pengajaran kreatif juga turut dinyatakan. Melalui kertas konsep ini diharapkan dapat memberi pendedahan awal kepada guru Pendidikan Islam untuk terus bergiat aktif mereka cipta bahan pengajaran yang kreatif dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran.
Abstract: Along with the development of education in Malaysia, the success of teachers is not only evaluated in the academic field; they must also master various forms of teaching techniques and be able to produce creative teaching materials to meet the challenges of the 21st century learning class. The use of creative teaching materials has also been proven to help Islamic Education teachers create an interesting learning environment as well as increase effectiveness in the teaching process and student facilitation in the classroom. This concept paper will discuss the concept of creative teaching materials in general. In addition, this concept paper also expresses the teacher's understanding of creative teaching materials as well as the application of creativity to teaching materials, whether implemented during induction sets, activity suggestions, or training and evaluation. The importance of using creative teaching materials is also mentioned. Through this concept paper, it is hoped to give early exposure to Islamic Education teachers so they can continue to be active in creating creative teaching materials in the teaching and learning process.
