Abstract

Abstract: Dysarthria occurs when the muscles that we use to speak are weak or difficult to control. Dysarthria often causes blurred or slowed speech that is difficult to understand. Reciting the Quran for those who suffer from this condition or anyone who learns tajwid will also find it difficult to recite the verses of the Qur'an for the first time. This is especially important when involving ‘Rukun Qauli’ which is surah Al-Fatihah in prayer such that the prayer is not accepted if the pronunciation of the hijaiyyah letters is incorrect. Therefore, it is very important to resolve/improve pronunciation. This research will help to increase the confidence of teachers and students and make Al-Quran education an interesting subject and very easy to learn. This study will increase the effectiveness of Dysarthria patients and to individuals who have difficulty reciting Quranic verses so that no more reasons are given to study and read it properly. Teachers have options to show drawings, their tongues (which are in the mouth) or use the MRI videos of songs or chants to explain to students about the position of the letters of the Quran.
