Abstrak: Akidah Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah merupakan pegangan utama majoriti umat Islam berpaksikan manhaj para ulama salaf dan khalaf yang diwarisi secara turun temurun. Apabila dilihat dalam konteks Fiqh al-Watan yang merupakan tatacara kehidupan bertanah air, ia berpotensi menjadikan pentadbiran negara selari dengan tuntutan syiar Islam. Cabaran dan ancaman terhadap masyarakat Islam berada dalam keadaan yang membimbangkan akibat berlakunya pelbagai tentangan dan ideologi menyimpang. Situasi ini menjadikan pendekatan Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah berlandaskan Fiqh al-Watan sebagai keperluan untuk memelihara agama dan kestabilan sosial. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kaedah analisis kandungan induktif, deduktif dan komparatif bagi menghasilkan dapatan kajian. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah menerusi Fiqh al-Watan menolak sebarang fahaman ekstrem dengan mengamalkan prinsip wasatiyyah yang membawa keseimbangan dan perpaduan ummah. Peranan ulama salaf dan khalaf diterima dari generasi ke generasi berdasarkan tradisi keilmuan, maka penerimaan adat resam dalam kehidupan juga turut diiktiraf selagi tidak menyalahi syariah. Pengintegrasian Fiqh al-Watan dengan Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah dalam pentadbiran negara diaplikasikan dengan mengambil kira konteks sejarah, budaya tempatan dan undang-undang bagi memastikan kedaulatan, keamanan dan kelestarian negara terjamin. Pendekatan ini sekali gus menjadi benteng pertahanan akidah dan syariah demi kelestarian negara.
Abstract: The creed of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamāʿah constitutes the principal doctrinal foundation of the majority of Muslims, grounded in the methodological legacy (manhaj) of the early (salaf) and later (khalaf) scholars and transmitted across generations. When examined within the framework of Fiqh al-Waṭan, understood as a jurisprudential approach to life within the homeland, this creed holds significant potential to align state governance with the objectives and symbols of Islam. Contemporary challenges and threats confronting Muslim societies have reached a concerning level due to the proliferation of opposition and deviant ideologies. This situation renders the Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamāʿah approach, grounded in Fiqh al-Waṭan, an essential necessity for safeguarding religion and maintaining social stability. This study adopts a qualitative research design employing inductive, deductive, and comparative content analysis methods to generate its findings. The findings demonstrate that the Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamāʿah paradigm, when articulated through Fiqh al-Waṭan, rejects all forms of extremism by upholding the principle of wasatiyyah (moderation), which fosters balance and unity within the Muslim community. The authority and role of the salaf and khalaf scholars are continuously acknowledged across generations through established scholarly traditions; accordingly, the acceptance of local customs and social practices is also recognised, provided that they do not contravene Islamic law. The integration of Fiqh al-Waṭan with the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamāʿah in state administration is implemented with due consideration of historical contexts, local cultures, and legal frameworks in order to ensure sovereignty, peace, and national sustainability. This approach simultaneously functions as a protective framework for creed and Sharīʿah, thereby contributing to the long-term sustainability of the nation.
