Abstract: There is no doubt that knowing the methods and principles of preaching and teaching is of great importance. As the preacher is indispensable in his preaching or teaching, as they are as if the two wings that he flies through and relies on, as they bring him success in continuing his preaching and teaching. In addition, these methods and principles, they differ depending on time, place, individuals, and societies, which makes those interested in preaching and teaching strive to fully and clearly know their origins and methods, and how can the preacher adapt them to the success of his preaching and teaching and facilitate them for the one being called? Here lies the research problem. The importance of the research comes from the fact that the methods of preaching and teaching come to control the system of the preaching and facilitate education. Moreover, the diversity in their methods to suit the reality of time and place as well as the one being called and addressed to benefit from them to organize his life and achieve his goal in this life. This research also took the stable and descriptive approach in tracking and collecting the methods, principles and techniques of preaching, teaching and analyzing them in adding them correctly in order to achieve the ultimate goal of the success of the preaching and the progress of education and benefiting from them. This research came in eight sections, a conclusion, included results, and references. The researcher found several results including, that every advocacy from one person to another is essentially a preaching, that cannot be differentiate from each other, and their methods are various. It is important to choose the appropriate techniques according to the culture of society, while integrating gentleness and wisdom into them, and relying on money, which is considered the main pillar of their continuation.
